Arc System Works has published a spectacular new trailer for Guilty Gear: Strive, the next installment of the acclaimed fighting title, which reviews what has been seen in past installments and shows the different game modes that the title will have.

Starting with the story mode, this will focus on the journey of our characters through the vast and vast country of the United States, and will be told through cinematics; the GG World mode provides a quick look at the most important events in the series by a chronology, and a glossary of all the characters and the relationships between them; and finally, a Gallery mode will collect all the cutscenes, soundtracks and concept arts from Guilty Gear: Strive so that we can see them whenever we want. Of course, it will also have the classic Tutorial, Arcade, Survival and Versus modes, which, like a good training, will help us prepare for the online modes.

As for the latter, we will have a curious and original Lobby Online mode, where with our customized avatars in the purest pixelart style we will be able to face the rest of the players who are there, and challenge them to subsequent combats; We can also choose between having fights against opponents that meet certain requirements (skill, games won, etc.) or simply give Quick Match, which will find us a game quickly; Another online mode would be Player Match , where we can get together up to nine players in the same room and establish the rules we want for each fight; and finally, a Replay Theater will allow us to review past matches that we have decided to save.

All Guilty Gear: Strive online options will have an “optimized netcode” and will allow cross-play between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 . Remember that the title will go on sale next April 9 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Steam , and that those who reserve the Deluxe or Ultimate edition will be able to access the prologue of the story and 13 of the 15 fighters from April 6.
