Ocean’s Heart will be released on January 21st on PC

Ocean’s Heart will arrive on the PC (via Steam) on January 21st. The game is an adventure RPG with visual pixel art with a charming world full of secrets, magic and danger.

In this adventure we will accompany Tilia, who has her father and best friend kidnapped by the pirate Blackbeard. Our main objective will be to rescue them, unraveling several pirate conspiracies along the way.

The creator of Ocean’s Heart is the same as Yarntown, a “zeldalike” demake from Bloodborne, so we can expect a game with elements inspired by Zelda, Hollow Knight, The Witcher and even Dark Souls, all to create an exciting approach to the RPG genre of Action and adventure.

The Hong Kong Massacre is coming to Nintendo Switch on December 26

First of all, we know what you are thinking “Is a game that includes ‘Massacre’ in the title the most suitable for just after Christmas?” Well, we leave that up to each one of us, but (if it helps) let’s not forget that one of the most Christmas movies of the past decade of the 90s was called “Hard to Die” (Die Hard). But back to the subject, Vreski and Untold Tales have revealed new information and an unreleased trailer for “The Hong Kong Massacre” for Nintendo Switch.

Available from December 26th, The Hong Kong Massacre will put us in the shoes of an old detective determined to avenge the death of his partner in a frenzied and violent shooter that inevitably reminds us of Hotline Miami. From the lowest depths to the high rooftops of Hong Kong, we will battle our way through a vast arsenal of weapons and stunts in a fluidly choreographed hail of bullets . A single shot and the game will be over, so the title will also give us the possibility to slow down time and think about our next move calmly, all under the rhythm of its spectacular soundtrack.

Originally released in 2019 for PlayStation 4 and PC, this title now arrives on Nintendo Switch for just € 19.99, with a 20% discount for those who pre-order it.

Cultist Simulator will be available on Nintendo Switch February 2

Cultist Simulator is a card-based cult simulation video game developed by independent studio Weather Factory and published by Humble Bundle. Created and designed with Unity by Alexis Kennedy, this title was published a couple of years ago. Since then it has been available on PC and mobile devices, and will be released on Nintendo Switch on February 2, 2021.

In this next version, the game will have an Initiate Edition, which will include the three additional downloadable content released for the game, in addition to it. In turn, coinciding with its premiere, a new expansion will be launched on the market on February 2 and the largest to date. Under the name Exile, this new content will include a new game mode and a host of new items.

A complete redesign of the interface has been done to adapt it to the Nintendo Switch version. Cultist Simulator can be played with both touch and remote controls, being able to configure whether we want to play with the buttons or with a cursor.

El Hijo: A Wild West Tale release date REVEALED

We can start preparing our ponchos and our slingshots, because El Hijo: A Wild West Tale already has a release date, next December 3.

Winter will get dusty in this new twist on the classic western. The game proposes to introduce us to a fun action adventure aimed at family enjoyment. In this way it combines a stealth mechanic that is easy to learn, but difficult to master, with action sequences and a dark and hopeful story. An experience aimed at fans of classic outlaws. The players will play a little hero boy, whom you will have to guide through the game world without his enemies discovering him. You will also be able to shoot stones at the lamps, create distractions using fireworks, and perform all kinds of tricks to avoid being discovered. The objective is to free the different children who have been captured by an evil union of criminals and we will start the way back to our mother.

In short, you are faced with a non-violent stealth title, with levels developed and designed to guide us through a worked story while introducing challenges and threats. Our main weapons will be those of a child: his antics, his toys and his utensils. Making use of them we must reach the end of a conspiracy that, according to the study promises, hides much more than it appears. Along the way, you must also dedicate yourselves to inspiring other children to embark on their own path to freedom.

El Hijo: A Wild West Tale will be released on Steam, Google Stadia and GOG.

Cris Tales (Multi) is postponed to 2021

In an official note published today on the Modus Games website, Carlos Rocha Silva, CEO of Dreams Uncorporated, which is developing the RPG Cris Tales, said that the game will be postponed to 2021. The game’s expected release date was set for the next November 17th and the postponement was necessary to meet the feedback given by people who played the game demo. Check out the full statement and a new trailer below.

To all Cris Tales fans, thank you for your interest in our game. We started development in 2014 and we hope it is more than clear to all of you that this is a labor of love for us. Much of the team here became friends because they believed in what we thought was an impossible dream – the dream of creating a video game that is a tribute to the golden age of JRPGs and also a totally innovative experience within the genre. We never believed that Cris Tales would reach such a large and diverse audience, and that people would love the dream and the game as much as we do.That is why we want to tell everyone who is looking forward to the launch of Cris Tales that together with Modus Games we made the difficult decision to postpone the launch date for Cris Tales from 17 November 2020 to some time in early 2021.We are a small video game development studio located in the city of Bucaramanga, Colombia. Cris Tales is the biggest project we have ever worked on, and we want to get it right. As you probably know, most areas and people in the game must be created at least three times, if not more to show the different past, present and future. So, in a way, it’s like developing three different video games at the same time. Three video games that must be impeccable so that we can deliver to you all the magic that we have in the soul. We want to be sure to win all the love that you have shown in our events, demos, previews and more. With the release of the demo for consoles, we saw some of you give us feedback on some things that we also want to address, and we want Crisbell’s adventure to be narrated in the best possible way, so we hope you will set aside extra time as the that we need to improve the experience, we are sure that everyone will love and appreciate it.What challenges will Crisbell and his companions face? What battles will change the weather in the Cristallys kingdom? Will the wrath of the Time Empress rule the world? We want you to enjoy finding all the answers that the Cris Tales universe will offer you. We’re sure you all have a lot of questions and we really consider you a part of the team on this journey, so some members of the development team will join me for an AMA on Reddit on Friday at 12pm PT / 19h GMT. Follow us as we continue to create this experience for all of you (and maybe take a look at a little more of what we’re working on).Thank you for believing in our Time Wizards.

Best regards,Carlos Rocha Silva, the Devs at Dreams Uncorporated and the SYCK team

World of Warcraft: Shadowlands will arrive in late 2020

Shadowlands is the next expansion for Blizzard’s MMO. However it was announced by executive producer John Hight, that it will no longer arrive on October 27th. As revealed, the expansion was postponed until the end of 2020.

According to what was revealed, they explained that in recent months, the development team has done a great job of polishing the main characteristics of the expansion. However, feedback was received from the community, and with that they will perform additional polishing.

See the announcement below via the official website:

I wanted to let you know that we are delaying the release of Shadowlands to the end of this year – and while we are still in the process of determining the right new release date, we felt it was important to inform you of this change in plans as soon as possible. This was an extremely difficult decision for the team, as we are just as eager to put the expansion in your hands as you are to play it – but, in the end, we feel it is the right decision for the game – and for our players .

In the last few months of testing, we’ve made significant progress in iterating and improving the main features and gameplay of Shadowlands. We are at a point where the zones, the campaign, the search experience to level up and the story we have to tell are essentially ready to be shared. We are excited about the Covenants at the heart of the expansion, and it was a thrill to see Torghast taking shape in a new type of fun WoW experience, thanks in large part to his contribution.

However, as everything started to fall into place and we were listening and building based on your feedback, it became clear that we need a little more time for further polishing and to balance and iterate on some interlocking pieces – particularly those related to the final game . Shadowlands is one of the most complex expansions we’ve ever created, and although we’ve made great progress, the challenge of adjusting the game’s end has been compounded by the team having to work from home.

Blizzard is committed to quality. We believe Shadowlands will be something special and we hear from many of you who feel the same way. We need that extra time to ensure that Shadowlands lives up to its full potential.

In the meantime, we’re pleased to announce that starting October 13, we’ll be releasing the Shadowlands pre-patch, which lays many of the foundations for expansion and includes our renewed character leveling, new player experience in Exile’s Reach, and a series new character customization options. And when we are closer to the launch of Shadowlands, you will be called upon to defend Azeroth against the resurgence of the Scourge during our pre-launch event.

Thank you for your support and passion, and for your continued help and feedback as we move towards the finish line.

We’ll see you in the Shadowlands soon,

John Hight, executive producer of World of Warcraft

FIFA 21 Gets an October 2020 Release Date

The next highly-anticipated FIFA game will release on a wide range of systems, including Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 9, 2020.

Pick up either the Champion or Ultimate Edition, however, and you’ll be able to play three days earlier from October 6, 2020. EA Play subscribers – that’s EA’s monthly subscription service – are also able to get early access, too, from as early as October 1.

Of course, the footie franchise is also coming to next-gen consoles – PS5 and Xbox Series X – but a precise release date has yet to be confirmed. Players who pick the game up on current-gen systems will be able to get an upgrade to next-gen for no additional cost, though, thanks to the publishers Dual Entitlement program.

“For FIFA 21, we’re partnering with Sony and Microsoft to offer you a Dual Entitlement – meaning that you won’t need to buy FIFA 21 twice to upgrade your copy of the game from PlayStation 4 to PlayStation 5, or Xbox One to Xbox Series X,” EA says, adding: “discless consoles require a digital entitlement to upgrade.”

And yes, your progress will also carry over onto your next-gen console, too. However, it’s important to note that you can only update from whatever version you have – physical or digital – so if you have a digital edition, you won’t be able to swap it for a physical version or vice-versa.

Don’t forget that FIFA 21 is also coming to PC via Steam, too, as well as EA’s own PC client, Origin.

There will be three different editions of FIFA 21 available at launch: FIFA 21 Standard Edition, FIFA 21 Champion’s Edition, and FIFA 21 Ultimate Edition. Here’s what you get with each one:

FIFA 21 Standard Edition

  • Up to 3 FUT 21 Rare Gold Packs (1 per week for 3 weeks)
  • 1 Cover Star Loan FUT Item (for 5 FUT matches)
  • 1 FUT Ambassador Loan Player Pick Item (Choose 1 of 3 player items for 3 FUT matches)
  • Special Edition FUT kits and stadium items

FIFA 21 Champion’s Edition

  • 3 days Early Access (play from October 6)
  • Up to 12 FUT 21 Rare Gold Packs (1 per week for 12 weeks)
  • 1 Cover Star Loan FUT Item (for 5 FUT matches)
  • Career Mode Homegrown Talent (local youth prospect with world-class potential)

Empire of Sin Gets a New Trailer and Release Date

Empire of Sin was first announced last year by Paradox Interactive and Romero Games. It’s a prohibition era empire builder that falls into the vein of X-Com with its turn-based combat. As stated, it’s all about management first, and combat second. That of course doesn’t stop the action from being plenty entertaining though.

Furthermore, it appears to have a rich story following the events of female Mob boss Goldie as she contends with iconic gangsters like Al Capone. It looks perfect for anyone that enjoys the classic gangster genre, and the best news is that it’s just months away. The release date for Empire of Sin is December 1, and it will hit Steam and Amazon. You can also support the developer directly by purchasing the game on its website.

Alongside the release date reveal, Romero Games also shared a new trailer to get people hyped. It really looks like it’s shaping up to be a full package. The combat, animations, and character models look polished. There’s also style pouring out of every frame, and the music vibes with the tone. When it comes to cinematics, it looks relatively good. The faces are a little tight, and the textures could be better, but we never said it was perfect. Still, it looks like it will deliver on gameplay and ambiance, and that’s definitely worth something.

The trailer also shows how we can manipulate the Windy City around us. It highlights an ongoing conflict between Capone and a rival boss Angelo, but mentions that Goldie set them up. More importantly, it shows how Goldie managed to sabotage them via gameplay. As the trailer points out, “nobody ever really wins,” unless you’re her apparently. Capone is no push over though. He, along with the other mob bosses, will respond to your actions. It’s not easy climbing your way to the top, and it’s even harder staying there.

If you intend to check Empire of Sin out upon release, be sure to save the date of December 1. It’s also available for pre-order, with an added content bonus for doing so. You will get ‘The Good Son’ pack, which includes an exclusive mission and recruitable character. There are also deluxe and premium editions if you’re into collecting.
